Roommates do not have to be determined until 90 days before departure. They should indicate on their booking form that their roommate is undetermined.
Typically the groom rooms with one of the groomsmen or family member before the wedding, and moves into the brides room after. However, we will book you on file in the same room.
Typically group rates are cheaper than booking outside the group. Guests should ensure everything is included in the rates they are finding online (luggage,Transfers etc). In addition, for the guests to be included in the events they must book within the group otherwise a fee (usd) may be charged by the resort to have them apart of the events.
We can assist all guests with their booking even if they are booking outside the main package. However, it is important to advise guests shorter durations don't always mean better pricing - as the dollar value is always better on 7 night packages. For any guests who are booking from different cities , it's important they contact your travel coordinator
The concession amount can only be provided by the supplier after all outstanding payments have been made and no additional changes are required.
Absolutely. Whether one person is paying for everybody or if each guest is paying for their room separately, we can accommodate payment with a single or several credit cards. Upon completing your group booking, we’ll send you a room assignment form with all of the passenger and hotel details. You can simply provide payment information on that form and send it back to us.
Complimentary passengers credit:Example - 8th adult passenger free including air, maximum 4 adults. The complimentary passenger is awarded and calculated based on the least expensive room category, package type (fit or itc), occupancy, duration and gateway booked excluding taxes, fees, and surcharges.A minimum of 10 rooms must be booked.Some restrictions may apply, please speak to your groups representative for more details.Any concessions/bonuses/promotions offered by the supplier/agent are subject to be changed/removed.Concessions are provided by the tour operator and are completely at their discretion, including amounts, time provided, estimates and calculation of concession.Concessions are completely at the discretion of the suppliers. Destawed inc. Can not provide an estimate of amount or time of delivery for concession, as it is completely atThe discretion of the supplier. Suppliers will not offer any calculation estimates or delivery of concession until the account is balanced and all final changes are complete.Concessions from the supplier are provided in a dollar value. Concessions from direct hotel contracts are provided as room nights. All concessions are subject to appropriate taxes.Any reservations made outside of the official group contract, whether made by the agency or independently will not count towards your concessions.Concessions are based on the average duration, and shorter durations booked will lower the concession. Children do not apply to any concessions. Should you have an agreement with multiple suppliers and contracts, concessions will be calculatedSeparately for each supplier.
E-documents are only issued by the Supplier to the Agent 15 days prior to date ofdeparture. E-documents will only be issued when:1) All final payments have been made2) All final changes in any manner have been madeIf E-documents are being withheld due to accounts payable from the Group Leader or any of the guests, penalties will apply of $200 per outstanding Guest per day within the timeframe of 15 days or less. The penalty and balance owing will be the responsibility of the Group Leader.It is the responsibility of each Guest to review their E-documents for correct name spelling, date of birth, flight times, dates, departure and return destinations and any other matters on the e-document that will affect the Guest to travel.Group Leader initials for E-documents: _______Should there be a cancellation of the wedding for any reason, the bride and groom agrees to authorize Destawed Inc. to charge a cancellation fee of $3000 plus any non-refundable deposits due for loss of business and subsequent services related to cancellation.Documentation required to travel to the destination, and valid passport is the responsibility of each guest on their own. The agent holds no liability for documentation or passport validity.
Should a guest miss their flight to destination, the return flight is automatically cancelledby the Supplier. Destawed Inc. will not be responsible for any missed flights and the Guest must re-book their return flight or missed flight as well as associated transfer and hotel nights at their own expense.Once the group is in destination, Destawed Inc. can not alter any booking information. If assistance is required, they must contact our Travel Office during business hours. Any onsite representatives of Destawed are for wedding planning purposes only and can not assist guests with travel related inquiries.
For groups, seat selection is available for only $10 per person, round-trip. Wedding groups of 20 passengers or more get complimentary seat selection. While we cannot guarantee that your whole group will be sitting together, we do our best to assign group seating in the same section of the plane.
For most of our destinations throughout Mexico and the Caribbean, transportation is included from the airport to the resort and back. For assistance, look for the Tour Operator representative they’ll help happily you. For all our other destinations, transportation can be arranged at an additional cost.
For major destinations where transfers are included in the package, passengers on the same flight will be assigned the same transfer to and from the hotel. For smaller destinations, shuttle space may be limited and group members may be assigned to different transfers. Private transfer reservations can also be arranged for an additional fee. Please inquire with your travel agent or Air Canada Vacations Groups Coordinator.
Our hotel partners do their best to find rooms that are close together, but room availability is beyond our control.
